1019 records is looking for experimental/noise/avant-garde/drone/harsh/lo-fi music for limited run hand made tape/cd-r releases.
Most noise tapes are in editions of 12, 16, or 24, sometimes as low as 9, sometimes as many as 100, with the copies split 1/2 between the label and the artist.
send a link or some mp3s to 1019records@gmail.com, or if you have a self-released/hand-made demo we'd gladly trade a random 1019 tape for it.
real bands who play real songs are welcome to submit music as well, as long as the words "folk", "indie", or "radiohead" do not appear in your band's description
